ST. MARTHA’S GUILD St. Martha’s Guild meets from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at St. David’s on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from September to June. Organized about 1998, the group presently includes 11 members. Throughout the year, the group works on a variety of activities, such as: the annual rummage sale to benefit the Caritas Center a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for youth camp scholarships a citywide bridge/pinochle luncheon to benefit the downtown women’s shelter a Bunco dinner and game night to benefit Hope House or other charities. The guild also provides gifts for St. David's graduating high school seniors, purchases St. David’s bookmarks for parishioners, helps weed shrub beds, cleans the kitchen and has planted more than 500 daffodil bulbs around the church as a memorial.
