Good News about Katie McDaris. She is on her way home from Seattle so that she can rest up before having her major surgery back in Seattle next Tuesday. The doctor's say that she has a rare cancer in the tumor on her pancreas but have assured her that it is not the fast moving and deadly pancreatic cancer. Her prognosis is very, very good. She is grateful for all the love and prayers she has received. She sounded very hopeful and optimistic today when Elaine spoke with her. Thanks be to God.

St. Martha's Guild Lunch
St. Martha’s Guild will meet on Monday, August 9 at the home of LouAnn Crass on Loon Lake for a summer get-together. Members are asked to bring an ingredient for Stacky-Uppy, a Javanese meal; contact LouAnn if coming. Carpooling will be from the Bank of America parking lot on north Division at 11:15 a.m., leaving by 11:30 a.m.
