Meet our Clergy and Staff

| The Rev. Elaine Breckenridge Mother Elaine began serving as our rector on September 12, 2004. Immediately before coming to St. David's, she was an associate rector at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Tucson, Arizona. Ordained since 1988, she has a wealth of experience, with special interests in creative liturgy and encouraging spiritual growth. |
 | The Rev. Dr. Finn Pond, TSSF Dr. Pond was ordained a deacon in 2002 at St. David's. He is a professor in the Biology Department at Whitworth College, where he teaches and conducts research in molecular biology. He is a third-order Franciscan. Finn coordinates and encourages St. David's efforts to fulfill the diocesan mission imperatives. |

| The Rev. Helen Biggers Mrs. Biggers was ordained a deacon in 2002 at St. David's, and is retired from a long career in nursing. Helen's calling is to pastoral ministry, and she coordinates St. Davids' prayer and pastoral care groups. |

| Jackie Ehnes Jackie became our office secretary in April 2005. She came to us from a local Lutheran congregation, where she was the office secretary for almost twelve years. Jackie is extremely active in Girl Scouts both in the Mead area and as a trainer with the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho Council. Her adult daughters are the fourth generation of Girl Scouts in her family. |

| Susan Asplin is our organist. She is also an accompanist for Ensemble and Intermediate Choirs of the Spokane Area Children's Chorus, and is the Developmental Music Teacher at Hamblen Elementary School, where she teaches music to 1st – 6th grade students. Susan received her B.M. degree in organ from Pacific Lutheran University, and her M.M. in Harpsichord performance and M.M. in organ from the University of Michigan. |

| Victoria Ferro is our Artist-in-Residence. She is an accomplished flutist, and frequently accompanies our 10:00 a.m. Sunday services and our Celtic Eucharists.
